Ronald H. Mandel, an Associate with Gray•Duffy, LLP, has been in practice for more than 35 years in both New York and California, specializing in all aspects of civil litigation with the focus on insurance-related matters. During Mr. Mandel’s career, he spent a period of time as both in-house counsel and in claims management for State Farm Fire & Casualty Company. Mr. Mandel has successfully represented both the insurance industry and its insureds in hundreds of litigated and claims-related matters involving errors and omissions, construction defects, fraud, and personal injury matters.

Mr. Mandel obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1973 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1968 from the City University of New York, Queens College.

He was admitted in 1974 to the New York State Bar and also to the United States District Courts of the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York and the Federal Second Circuit Court of Appeal. In 1978, after relocating to California with his family, Mr. Mandel was admitted to the California State Bar, in addition to the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Mandel has volunteered his time and has acted as an Arbitrator and a Mediator for the California Superior Courts in civil litigated matters.
